First Impressions

Yahoo!  Yesterday's hunt of the garage sales was a huge success.  Pleasure, Sunshine, Tornado and I hit the pavement at 8:00 a.m. and were home by 11:30 with all we needed to transform D's dining room into a playroom for her son.

We also picked up a few items for future jobs.  How could we have possibly passed up these two rattan folding screens for two bucks?  Pay dirt!!

And look at what we scored at the second hand store!

Now be careful not to judge our purchases on your first impression.  We have a fun vision for these pieces.

So what would you do with a box of wooden canisters, a wicker star tray, a square metallic box and an small wooden shelf with cup hooks?

 
Throw in a woven picnic basket, a variety of letters and some chalk board paint and you've got one knock out fun playroom, right?
